D-DAY IS COMING SEPTEMBER 25, 2001!
That's right. We've got an official release date. AND more info on the new record. TENACIOUS D (self-titled, of course) was produced by the Dust Brothers (of Beck and Beastie Boys production fame) and recorded at The Boat and Neil Diamond's ArcAngel studio in Los Angeles, CA. Look out for some special ass-kicking appearances on the album from friends of The D Dave Grohl, Page Mcconnell from Phish, Warren Fitzgerald from the Vandals, and Steve McDonald from Redd Kross.
Among longtime concert fav's that will appear on the record will be "F*c* Her Gently," "Tribute" and of course my song, "Lee."
Oh, yes. This WILL rock your socks off.
Tenacious D is Jack Black and Kyle Gass. They are the greatest band on earth. Period.
